What we collect, why, where it lives, how long it stays, and how to get it corrected or deleted. Plain English, because a notice you can't read protects nobody. The short version: we hold what you put here to run the product for you, we don't sell it, and you can have it removed. Dazflo is in beta: as the product changes, this notice will change with it, and the date at the top will move.
Dazflo — the operator of dazflo.com and the Dazflo apps — is responsible for your data (the "data fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). For anything about your data — a question, a correction, a deletion, a concern — write to our privacy contact at hello@dazflo.com. We reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Your account: your name, your email address, and a password we store only in scrambled (hashed) form. Needed to sign you in, to reach you about your own account, and to keep it yours.
Your profile: what you choose to put on it — a username, a headline, a bio, a photo, links, and the social accounts and follower counts you enter. Shown to the people you make it visible to; you pick public, unlisted or private.
Verified audience: if you choose to verify a follower count, you show us the number on a screen we watch you open. We keep that evidence and the result, so the mark on your profile says only what we actually saw.
Your work: briefs, offers, events, contests and rooms you make or take part in — tasks, deliverables, applications, entries, event registrations and the answers you give in them, approvals, and the record of what was agreed. This is the product.
Messages: what you send to other members, and to the assistant. Kept so both sides can read the conversation later.
Recordings you make in Dazflo Live: photos, videos and screen recordings made through Dazflo's own camera, only after you tap record and agree to the consent shown at that moment. Each one is sealed with the time it was made and a fingerprint of the file, so a receipt for it can be checked later. We record the version of the consent you agreed to.
Notifications: your email and, only if you turn them on, a browser push subscription. Both are yours to switch off in Settings, except a few messages about security and your own transactions.
Technical: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, security logs of requests to our servers, and visit counts from our hosting provider's analytics. No advertising trackers.
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers for targeting. We don't read your messages for marketing, and we don't use what you put here to train AI models. The assistant reads your own data only when you ask it something, to answer you; the text you send it is processed by an AI provider to produce the reply.
Promotions: you will see promotions on Dazflo — campaigns, partner events, featured programmes — sometimes paid for by the brand behind them. They are placed for everyone, not chosen using your personal data, and the brand learns nothing about you unless you apply, enter or register.
You decide. A public page is public because you published it. What you put in a room, a brief or a deal is seen by the people in it. A private profile is seen by you and by nobody else. Verification marks state only what we checked — never a promise about a person.
When you apply, enter or book: the brand or person running that brief, contest, event or offer sees what you send them — your application, your quote, your entry, your answers — along with your profile and any verified audience numbers on it. That is how they decide; nothing goes to them before you act.
Dazflo runs on cloud infrastructure in the United States. Images, recordings and captures are stored with content-delivery providers in the United States and Germany. Email goes through a delivery service. Each provider processes data on our instructions only, to provide its part of the service; the full list is available on request.
That means your data is processed outside India. India's data protection rules allow this unless the government restricts a destination; if that ever changes for a place we use, we will move the affected data.
Payments: Dazflo does not take payments today. When it does, they will be handled by a regulated payment provider; card details will go to that provider and never to us.
Your account and content: for as long as you keep the account. Ask us to delete it and we complete the deletion within 30 days. Where another person relies on a record you were part of — an agreement you both signed off, a completed piece of work, a receipt — a minimal version may be kept so their record isn't destroyed with yours.
Recordings: yours until you delete them. Deleting one removes the file and everything you wrote about it; what stays is a minimal sealed note that a recording was made at that time and deleted — no file, no content. Recordings made to verify your identity are the exception: they are deleted automatically 90 days after they are made, and never get a public receipt.
Messages: for as long as both accounts exist. Technical logs: for a short period, for security.
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, withdraw consent you gave earlier, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you cannot. Write to hello@dazflo.com from the address on your account. Account deletion is by request for now — there is no button yet — and we act on it within 30 days.
We would always rather hear about a problem directly and put it right. The law also gives you a route beyond us: once you have raised a matter with us and had our answer, you may take it to the Data Protection Board of India.
Dazflo is for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we will close it and delete the data.
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we will tell you before it takes effect and update the date at the top. The terms of use cover everything else about how Dazflo works.
